Wired Science: Europa’s Icy Surface

Wired Science recently posted a gallery of “The Solar System’s Most Spectactular Geology.” Click through to see a photo of Europa, one of the largest moons of JUPITER. It’s a fascinating place because it probably has an ocean of liquid water underneath the surface of the ice.

JUPITER is currently the brightest object in the night sky (except for the moon), and is visible all night long.
